Onapsis Ranked Number 218 Fastest Growing Company in North America on Deloitte’s 2018 Technology Fast 500™

Attributes 444.48 Percent Revenue Growth to evolving threats targeting ERP Applications

Boston, MA – November 15, 2018 — Onapsis, the global experts in ERP and business-critical application cybersecurity and compliance, today announced it ranked 218 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. Onapsis grew 444.48 percent during this period.

Onapsis’s chief executive officer, Mariano Nunez, credits the increased threat of ERP cyberattacks and ERP cloud migration initiatives with the company’s 444.48 percent revenue growth. He said, “This year we have seen a new critical US-CERT Alert released by the Department of Homeland Security, warning about cyberattacks on ERP applications. With over 90% of the Global 2000 running SAP and Oracle business applications and over 77% of the world’s transaction revenue touching an SAP system, there is little surprise on why cybercriminals, hacktivists and nation-states are targeting these crown jewels. Migrations of ERP to the cloud are making organizations more aware of the need to protect these now-public critical applications. At Onapsis, we were both ‘first-movers’ and ‘first-scalers’, delivering sustained hypergrowth, while delivering a unique software platform to protect the world’s largest organizations. This award is a recognition to the hard work of all our team members, who strive to change the status quo every day.”

“Congratulations to the Deloitte 2018 Technology Fast 500 winners on this impressive achievement,” said Sandra Shirai, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader. “These companies are innovators who have converted their disruptive ideas into products, services and experiences that can captivate new customers and drive remarkable growth.”

“Software, which accounts for nearly two of every three companies on the list, continues to produce some of the most exciting technologies of the 21st century, including innovations in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and robotics,” said Mohana Dissanayake, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Industry Leader for technology, media and telecommunications, within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “This year’s ranking demonstrates what is likely a national phenomenon, where many companies from all parts of America are transforming the way we do business by combining breakthrough research and development, entrepreneurship and rapid growth.”

Onapsis previously ranked 243 as a Technology Fast 500™ award winner for 2017.
