Onapsis Is Getting SaaS-y
In October 2020, we announced our Series D round of funding which included our plans for extending The Onapsis Platform to support mission-critical SaaS applications, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday and others. This new support enables us to execute our vision of protecting the intelligent enterprise and accelerating digital transformation initiatives by delivering cybersecurity and compliance solutions for all mission-critical applications running on-premises and hosted on cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), as well as the API-based integrations between them.
At that time of the funding announcement, we also announced an early access program for The Onapsis Platform supporting both SAP SuccessFactors and Salesforce. After great customer response and feedback from our early access program, we are today launching the general availability of our support for SAP SuccessFactors in The Onapsis Platform. We are officially getting SaaS-y.
The new support enables our customers to quickly discover, assess, prioritize, and eliminate SAP SuccessFactors’ misconfigurations, vulnerabilities and authorization issues that can put sensitive data and processes at risk.
“While SuccessFactors offers built-in security, its controls can be tricky to configure and it does not provide cross-functional visibility,” said Anshuman Kanwar, GM of Products and Technology, Onapsis. “This has a direct impact on cybersecurity and privacy, which can result in fraud, and put sensitive or confidential company information at risk. The Onapsis Platform supporting SAP SuccessFactors helps teams get a complete understanding of risk within SaaS platforms while analyzing the impact across interconnected business processes.”
Top tips for securing SAP SuccessFactors
In a recent article published in TecHR Series, “How to Ensure Security Success with SuccessFactors and other SaaS-based HCM Solutions,” Paul Stamp, vice president of product management at Onapsis, talks about the importance of keeping SuccessFactors and critical HR data protected. He highlights five common HR SaaS security pitfalls that can introduce significant risk: excessive authorizations, segregation of duties, user impersonation, security configurations and system integrations. While Paul also discusses some ways of mitigating risks with these pitfalls in his article, he provides even more details in this webinar, Top Five Ways to Mitigate SAP SuccessFactors Risk. This webinar provides the insights InfoSec and HR IT need to work together and explains how to use The Onapsis Platform to ensure a strong security and compliance posture.
Salesforce is coming…Salesforce is coming
Our coming support for Salesforce is now right on the heels of today’s announcement for SAP SuccessFactors. Early in Q2, we will announce the general availability of The Onapsis Platform supporting Salesforce, which will then be followed with support for Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday and other SaaS applications throughout 2021.
