ABAP Command Injection in CNVCF_JSTAT_UP RFC function call (S4CORE)

Vulnerability Details
A remote-enabled function module named CNVCF_JSTAT_UP allows an authenticated user to arbitrarily modify the source code of existing programs. The function module performs a programmatic authorization check, but it only verifies that the user has privileges to display data, which does not adequately protect against code modification. An attacker with the required authorizations could exploit this to inject malicious code into existing programs, which could directly lead to OS command execution and full system compromise.
Solution
SAP has released SAP Note 3694242 which provides patched versions of the affected components.
