Onapsis Featured on 2022 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies for the Second Consecutive Year

Onapsis achieved 156% growth over the past three years, further validating the value of its solutions and the ongoing need for business-critical application security

BOSTON, August 16, 2022 Onapsis, the leader in business-critical application cybersecurity and compliance, today announced it was recognized by Inc. Magazine on the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Intuit, Facebook, Microsoft, and many other well-known technology leaders gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

With the increasing regulations and cyberattacks surrounding business-critical applications, global enterprises have rapidly turned to Onapsis for their vulnerability management, threat detection and response, change assurance, and continuous compliance needs. Hundreds of the world’s leading brands, including 20% of the Fortune 100, rely on Onapsis’ market-leading security solutions to protect their business-critical applications. As a result, the company has grown 156% and increased its employee headcount by 40% in the past three years.

“We’ve achieved tremendous growth over the past several years as enterprises have realized the imperative need to prioritize security for their business-critical applications, and consolidated Onapsis as the de-facto standard to achieve this,” said Mariano Nunez, CEO of Onapsis. “It’s an honor to be named a fastest growing company alongside some of the most world-renowned technology innovators. I’m proud of the team for their hard work and dedication, and thankful for our customers and partners who have helped us get to the place we are today. We look forward to seeing additional momentum in the months and years to come.”

This key recognition follows a year of extraordinary momentum for Onapsis. Earlier this year, the company appointed three new executives, including Kellie Snyder as Chief Customer Officer, Sadik Al-Abdulla as Chief Product Officer, and Denis Cashman as Chief Financial Officer. In June, the company also announced its inaugural customer advisory board, consisting of cybersecurity luminaries from top globally recognized brands, such as Dow Chemical, Cardinal Health, and Liberty Mutual.

“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”

Methodology

Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places. The top 500 companies on the Inc. 5000 are featured in Inc. magazine’s September issue. The entire Inc. 5000 can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
