The SAPinsider Benchmark Research report, “The Technology Leader’s 2025 Agenda for SAP,” surveyed leaders to understand their top priorities and planned investments for the year. The findings reveal a primary focus on leveraging data and AI to create more efficient operations.

  • Top Business Priorities: The highest-ranked priorities for leaders in 2025 are increasing process efficiency and visibility (64%), followed by building an AI strategy (61%), and lowering IT and operational costs (54%).
  • SAP S/4HANA and AI are Core Focus Areas: The report found that SAP S/4HANA and AI consistently emerged as key strategic focus areas for technology leaders.
  • Increased Budgets: Most respondents plan to maintain or increase their budgets for SAP-related projects, with nearly twice as many planning to increase budgets as those who plan to decrease them.
  • In-Demand Skills: The most sought-after SAP-related skills for 2025 are analytics, AI and machine learning, and SAP S/4HANA.
